Alternative pedestrian access is available via an entrance on the other side of the park, adjacent to Phipps Bridge tram stop (with tram services from Wimbledon and Croydon) this is just under half a mile from the event area.

The venue is accessible by bus, the closest stop to the park entrance is Morden Hall stop E, served by routes 45, 80, 157, 164, 201, and 470. A wider range of buses serve nearby stops for Morden Underground station.

There is parking on site from 9am, 250 yards from the event area. This is free for the first 90 minutes (free all day for Blue Badge holders and National Trust members). There are four disabled bays.

The route to the event area from the car park/street entrance is over a hump-backed bridge constructed of wooden slats, then a loose gravel-on-dirt path to the lawn.

The event is held on the area known as ‘White Bridge Lawn’, adjacent to a main pedestrian intersection in the park.

The event area is well maintained grass.

Accessible toilets are available in the park at the Stableyard and the Snuff Mill, these are gender neutral and within 100 yards of the event area.

Food and drink is available from the Potting Shed Café next to the car park which has a level and accessible entrance, and the Stableyard café next to the event area.

The route is approximately 1 mile long and follows the gravel paths through the park, crossing a tramline in one place and a road in another.

The tramline has chicanes on either side to slow cyclists but is wide enough for wheelchair users to pass, the tram tracks themselves have paving either side level with the top of the metal.

St John’s Ambulance and Merton Plus stewards will accompany the march, please make St John’s volunteers aware of any personal medical information you deem necessary before the march begins at 1.30pm.

Access to Merton Abbey Mills from the march is across a flat, level, concrete bridge.
