Everyone deserves to feel at home in Merton, no matter who they are and who they love. We want all members of the LGBTQ+ community, including trans and non-binary people and LGBTQ+ people of colour, to feel safe and welcome in local spaces. Merton Pride is about celebrating our diversity, not just today but every day of the year.
Rooted in Local Communities
We believe that real inclusion starts at the local level. By fostering new connections between LGBTQ+ people, neighbours, allies and many more, Merton Pride makes our communities stronger and kinder.

Committed to Sustainability
Pride is a celebration of who we are — and that includes caring for the borough we call home. Merton Pride is proud to be working with Sustainable Merton to make this the greenest Pride in London, from reusable bunting workshops to encouraging plastic-free celebrations across the day.
We’re asking everyone who joins us — marchers, stallholders and spectators alike — to think reusable, not disposable: raid your wardrobe instead of buying new, bring your own water bottle, and help us leave nothing behind but footsteps and good vibes.

Celebration and Protest
Merton Pride is a celebration, but it’s also a protest. We owe today’s LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms to those who campaigned and marched long before us. When we come together, we honour their achievements and continue their work towards full equality.
