Family Activities
Our programme is packed with activities for all the family! 
10am – 2pm · Morden Hall Park
Before the march, head to the AFC Wimbledon stand and show off your football skills, get creative with Merton Fostering, or try something new at our Lion Dance workshops in The Parlour (11:30am and 1:10pm). Soak up the music at The Pitch, explore our working fire engine near the Stableyard, and don’t forget to get your face painted!
From 2pm · Morden Hall Park → Merton Abbey Mills
Join hundreds of people for London’s greenest Pride March, following the River Wandle from Morden Hall Park to Merton Abbey Mills! Taking part is FREE and everyone is welcome. Collect your marching wristband from the sign-up stall — numbers are capped, so arrive early to secure your place.
- Line up by the White Bridge from 1:30pm
- Sets off at 2pm sharp
- One-mile route, around an hour — stay hydrated!
2pm – 6pm · Merton Abbey Mills
There’s heaps happening at Merton Abbey Mills too! Get crafty with everything from wand-making to bracelet making, or follow our children’s scavenger trail (ask at the Merton Plus stand for info). Performances for families include:
- Polka Theatre Workshops in the Salon — 3pm (4–7 yrs) & 4:15pm (8–12 yrs) : Join Polka Theatre for an hour of family fun, creativity and celebration! These playful, hands-on workshops invite families to explore themes of belonging, community, and protest through a mix of storytelling, characters, music and craft. Book your tickets here.
- Drag Story Hour in the Bookshop — 3pm and 4:15pm
